There's something about this piece that's not letting me get my teeth sunk into it. I'm sure part of it is a fear of using oils (I'm not a big fan) but I also think that I'm not really prepared to start the next phase of this piece. I've decided to step back and re-work the base colours to make sure I get it exactly right.
