I just finished my latest piece for the
From Stone series at
bewarethecheese.com. It's called Rowland Hill, and it's based on the statue of him that I found in London. Rowland Hill was the man who is credited with inventing the postage stamp, so I thought he would be the perfect person to bring back to life a little. I've been documenting the progress of this piece over the last few days, and I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I was so happy with the watercolour stage that I had a really hard time deciding where to rip it, but I think it looks great as this final piece.
