Happy Halloween!
Since they don't celebrate Halloween here in Greece I couldn't get a picture of me with any kind of monster or ghoul. So instead I just decided to post a really gross looking picture of my eye.

I Think I Live Near a Celebrity
I knew Athens was a pretty cosmopolitan place with lots of people, but I never thought I'd see a celebrity in front of my house.
It's Herbie the love bug! He must have retired here after years of service as a race car/entertainer. He looks good for his age.

Today Is No Day in Greece
There's a huge historical story behind "No" day that I often get wrong. Let's just say you want to know what "No" day is all about. You might say "Hey Chris, can you tell me what this "No" day is all about?" I would then, cleverly, say "NO!"

Working on Some Art
I've just finished a painting. It's based off of a sculpture in the old Athens grave yard. I've decided to paint a series of paintings based off of old marble sculptures but brought to life. I've also added a modern style background, this one is inspired from the modern sidewalks here in Athens. The painting is called "Between Happiness and Sadness".

Crazy People
One of the things I love most about traveling is seeing the crazy people. Every town, city or village has crazy people, and at each place the type of crazy these people are is truly unique. It's as if the crazy style is like a finger print. I've seen a few here in Athens, but I'm still trying to work out their exact level and style of crazy.

Too Bad My Pet Is Always Happy
I came across this poster for a missing dog the other day, and it made me think. I don't really have a sad picture of my bird Jody. I think that I should probably make her cry and get a snapshot, that way if she ever goes missing I can post a picture of her that looks sad. This might get some sympathy, and maybe she'll be found faster. My question is then, how does one make a bird cry?
