At first I thought this was the worst slogan ever for a mall, then I realized it was in fact just the worst slogan ever.
Squirrels eating nuts is funny.
I like hibernation too.

Let's Play Happy/Dissapointed
Today I was really happy that my new tablet case and stylus came in the mail.
Today I was really disappointed that the tablet did not arrive with the tablet case and stylus in the mail.

Signs I Like
This is what happens when Princess Leia goes to the Dark side and starts table dancing.
Don't put your foot in your mouth.
The name is strange, the eyeballs in the name are just creepy.

I've Been Busy, So I've Visited A Few Bathrooms
I've been really busy working over the last month or so, and that means I've been visiting many public bathrooms. It's really a win/win situation, I get lots of work and the Bathrooms I've Been To map gets expanded even more.

Signs I Like
I didn't realize it was a competition.
I love the texture.
It looks like these divers missed and got skewered onto these poles.
I wish the tram actually looked like the one in the picture.

RIP Jodybird
Sadly this morning our pet cockatiel Jody passed away. She has participated in many of our adventures online including the not very popular "Let Jody Decide". We'll certainly miss her.

Bathroom Request
For the first time in my life, I've been asked to post a bathroom on my "Bathrooms I've Been Too" map. Usually I just assume that the people whom own the bathrooms I photograph are indifferent to my map, unless it's an unfaltering picture. So when my friend Jonathan from the Canadian Institute In Greece, regularly reminded me that I haven't photographed the CIG's bathroom, I finally gave in and took this.

I'll Be Hanging Around a Totem Pole All Month
All this month I'm documenting the restoration of a Totem Pole known as the Chief's Crest Pole. So far it's been really fascinating to see what it takes to restore a piece of wooden art back to its former glory.
There's been all kinds of interesting problems to solve, from ants to past restoration and preservation work. But I'm lucky enough to just have to observe this and not have to actually deal with any real problems.
I'll be visiting the restoration work regularly, and you can keep up with these adventures on the Attica Totem Pole Project blog.

Another Greek Bathroom
I went to a mall that used to be the media center for the Athens Olympics in 2004. Think about the famous people that may have used this bathroom.

I would think throwing a bottle in the toilet is a pretty obvious no, no.

Websites I Use Regularly To Which I Am Ashamed - How To Tie A Tie
I'm not sure if I'm more ashamed of not knowing how to tie a tie (and constantly forgetting) or if I'm ashamed that I wear a tie somewhat regularly. My punk rock friends from high school would probably say the latter. But I do on occasion have to wear a tie, and for the life of me I can't ever remember how to tie it. It seems that every time I start to figure it out, a month or two goes by where I don't have to wear it again and I forget. This is why I regularly consult Tie-a-tie.net. That's right, it's a site all about how to tie and tie many different ways. I'm partial to the four in hand knot, because it's asymmetrical and therefore never has to be perfect.
I'd like to thank Mr Hendrik for making this very easy to use site, even though there's something very smug about him.

Booze and Gas
While stopping to pay for some gas at my local gas station, I noticed that the place was fully stocked with wiper fluid, oil, gin, and whiskey.

The Giant Claw
As you may or may not know, I love claw games. I don't like playing them at all, in fact I think I've only played them once or twice in my whole life. I just love looking at the crazy prizes, and checking out the fun graphics on the outside. The other night, Allison and I came across the largest claw game I've ever seen. I think it would be cool to climb inside and take a ride on the claw.

How To Dry Your Hands
You can always tell the quality of a bathroom by the method to which you dry your hands. These fancy air blower types say modern, but not overly classy. Most likely clean, but you're not going to have to tip anybody to use this facility.
