I get lots of creative art ideas. Some I act upon, others I sketch and they never get completed. One idea I had was a painting series I created where I would simplify the drawings and examine the colours.
I was fairly happy with this series, and a few of them I keep up in my house to this day. I just don't think it was the kind of art project that could be sold, or marketed, so I stop painting them.
I'm not upset that I stopped, I learned a lot about minimalism and colour, and I have a few pieces up in my house that I don't entirely hate.
