Great Bubble Tiles

I love the tiles in this bathroom I came across in the Plaka in Athens.  The place is a really great yogurt bar called Fresko, and if you're going to stop to use the bathroom (it's a little hidden) I also recommend you sample their yogurt with black cherries.

Working On A New Project

Allison and I have decided that for our 10th anniversary we're going to go on an epic trip.  Our destination is Walt Disney World, our mission is to spend the next 2 years making sure that this is the more epic trip ever.

A Bathroom Just South Of Athens

Allison and I went for a little adventure just south of Athens, and we stopped to grab a bite to eat.  It was at Applebee's restaurant.  I thought all of the Applebee's restaurants went out of business here in Greece, apparently I was wrong.

Last Night's Art Show Opening

Last night's opening of our photography show, in collaboration with the Canadian Embassy and the Finnish Institute at Athens, was a great success.  We not only managed to get all of the work up...

But lots of people came by to say hello, and to see some great photographs by some awesome artists.

New Mini Series in Senses

I just finished my first ever triptych of three gummy bears with three little people painting them.

I'm pretty happy with these, and I think I might make a few more with the little people painting, after I finish I few bigger projects that I have on the go.

Signs I Like

Here's a clear sign that you're in a small town, no phone number.

This seems like a perfectly good idea.

Would you sleep in a tent or cabin in an area that had these signs up everywhere?  I'd avoid it in particular if you happen to have a baby.

Have you ever wandered into a big box electronic store just to use the bathroom?  It's strange how we now accept the fact that if you're a big store, no matter what they sell, there will be a bathroom.

New Senses Art Piece

I just finished the another fine art piece for my Senses series.

I've become obsessed with imagining myself as little people toiling over each piece.  Sometimes when I work on a piece of art, no matter what the size, I always feel like the piece is way out of my league and I'm just a little guy trying to put colour in the right places.
