I had a really great time here in New Zealand, but frankly I'm getting sick of all of this fresh air and healthy lifestyle stuff.  I'm in a town right now with no McDonald's, no candy store, not even an arcade.

Best Breakfast So Far

This morning I ate my cereal with this view.  Apparently the mountain in the distance is a volcano, and it's possible that it will erupt any day now.  Nature is so awesome... Unless you live too close to lava spewing volcanoes I guess.

Things I Saw At The Zoo Today

- A koala leaping gracefully from branch to branch
- A tapir swimming
- A lizard walking on a window
- Two echidna almost finding love
- A chimp using tools... Go evolution!
- Elephants living, laughing, learning, and showering
- A kangaroo actually hoping and not sleeping
- Platypuses... Platypie.... Whatever the plural is.
- A civet cat pooping... Yummy coffee.

I Farted...

And nobody noticed.  That's the great thing about Hell's Gate, a place filled with boiling mud and sulphur vents.  No matter how many times you let on slip by, it can't smell worse than the air around you.  Having said that, I now reek of sulphur so I smell like a continuous eggy fart, but at least I have an excuse.

Glow Worm's Your Goodnight Friend

We visited the glow worm caves in Waitomo today.  Strange that you would pay money to see bugs that leave toxic spittle globs all over the place, but only because their ass' glow.  Having said that it was worth it.

Sad Socket

The electrical sockets here in New Zealand (and Australia) look so sad.  It's as if they're afraid of someone plugging a plug into their faces.  It makes me sad to say that to write this blog entry, I had to violate one of these poor little guy's.

Looking Much More Haggard

After more than 24 hours on airplanes and in airports...  I think we look pretty good... Considering.

Australia Is Nice

Some say it is the most photogenic city in the world.  I've only been here a day and I have to agree.  Tonight we'll be inside the opera house enjoying the musical sounds from Dr. Who...  Good nerdy times.

I can't sleep on airplanes...  Why does it suddenly smell like mint?  Only 5 more hours to go...  I'll stop babbling now.

Tree VS Fence - The Winner...

The treeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! I've never seen a tree do so much damage to a man made object in my life.  Not only is it pushing a marble pillar aside, it's bent the metal bars of the fence as well.  Most scary is the fact that it's actually consuming the fence.
