Sorry I've been off the Signs I Like think lately.
It's Birthday Bunny!
These chickens look terrified... could be because they're on a sign for a chicken restaurant.

A Few Strange Things I Saw In Thessaloniki
Of all the cities in Greece, Thessaloniki is truly one of the hippest, cultural cities in the whole country. Although Athens has the big museums and archaeology sits, Thessaloniki has a much hipper/stranger view of the world, and there's not better way to see this than by simply looking around. As I've always thought, the best way to judge a city, is by how completely strange it's public art/spaces are.
One of the first pieces of public "art" I found was this mangled piece of steel with bikes twisted up inside. I can't say for sure if this is intended to be art, or if it's some kind of strange accident.
I want to take this home and put it next to my alarm clock. That way when I try to hit the snooze, I'll see this looking back at me and I'll be more awake than ever before.
All of the utility boxes in Thessaloniki are decorated to look like robots... how cool is that?
Last, and most certainly not least, it appears that Thessaloniki is attempting to beat out Belgium for the creepiest public statue that makes you feel wrong just for looking at it. Manikin Piss in Belgium depicts a small boy peeing into a fountain. In Thessaloniki we have a slightly older boy both peeing and spitting into a fountain... This is seriously wrong.

I Just Got Back From Thessaloniki...
And I visited at least two bathrooms. One at a great restaurant.
The other was in my hotel room. Don't you think this one looks like the "Eye of Sauron"?

What To Do With This Bag
For my birthday this year, Allison picked me up a couple of Lego Mini Figures. I can't tell you how happy I was to unwrap these little guys. Afterwards she pulled out this bag from the Lego store and gave it to me because she thought I'd like it.
She couldn't have been more right. In my opinion this is one of the best plastic bags ever made. The problem I have is I don't really have any use for a plastic bag of this size. I also don't want to use it in a way that will wear it out too quickly.
So, what do you think I could do with my Lego bag?

Another new Mixed Media Piece.
I just finished this new piece for my Photography/Mixed media series called "From Stone". I call it "Justice", because the statue in the photo is in front of the Supreme Court of Canada.

Signs I Like
Is this like that book, but instead it's "Where's Gandhi?"
I think this has something to do with the internet, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with it.

I need a word... Part 5
For the next 5 days I need help trying to find words. I'll give a blank, and then the words definition. The word may or may not already exist, but I think these situations come up enough that a word is needed:
_______________ - is what happens when you create an idea but just don't have enough content to fill the time that you scheduled.

This Week In Athens
I can't remember Greek words. It's really frustrating, but I can't remember Greek words. I ask people that speak Greek to teach me new words now and then, but within minutes I can't remember the word. I always thought it would be fun to learn a word every day, or have broken conversations with people who only speak Greek on a daily basis. Instead I find myself awkwardly staring at the Greek speaking people I interact with daily, not saying a word. I want to say something, but I can't think of a conversation starter. For some reason the only words I can remember are words that are inappropriate for that moment. I just got it in my head how to say "Thank God It's Friday" last Tuesday, and I've forgotten it again.
